Angela is a mother of two, and has been attending our program at Logan Park Apartments for over six months.
Shaday, her case manager, noticed that Angela would frequently mention finances in their conversations. Angela wanted to do more to support her family, however she was afraid of failure.
Through the support of Next Move Homeless Services staff, Angela has found her passion as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor! She is currently enrolled in a Chemical Dependency Studies degree program at American River College.
Angela no longer faces doubts and fear, and instead focuses on encouragement and affirmation. She tells herself, “You can do it… just give it a try.”
