Kindness Campaign Continues

Resurrection College Prep is sponsoring a year-long series of events and activities to promote kindness in our school community, which began with our Kind Campaign Assembly on September 7, 2018. Since keeping Kindness at the forefront of our school year is important, each month we will have a kindness-related theme.  Departments and student organizations are encouraged to incorporate some of these themes each month!  The theme for October is Mindfulness and we reflect on being mindful of our words and actions, with a focus on the positive good that can come from being mindful.

Join us for the popular Resurrection Sip & Paint Party!

This fall fundraising events is for adults only, ages 21 and up, the cost is $35 per person and includes a ceramic plate, painting supplies and instruction by Resurrection Art Teacher Jen Salerno. A cash bar will be available for beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee, water & juices.

Resurrection Fall Play
will be presented
November 15-18, 2018

These Shining Lives
is a play written by Melanie Marnich. Based on the true story of four women who worked in a watch factory in Ottawa, Illinois, the play tells the story of the  toxic and deadly levels of radium poisoning of over 4,000 factory workers  in the 1920s, and how these 4 women  took their company to court and achieved a long-lasting victory over corporations with poor workplace conditions and worker's compensation that is still in effect today.
