The School of Social Work is holding a year-long lecture series designed to meet the profession's grand challenge of harnessing technology for social good.

A new financial-aid program aims to make attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign more affordable for middle-income families in the state of Illinois.
MSW student, Carmen Hernandez was honored with C-U Immigration Forum's Student Leadership Award - one of five awards presented by the organization at the annual ceremony. This award is given to a student who has shown promise as a leader or demonstrated commitment to serving or working with immigrants or refugees, locally or abroad.
The 2018-exclusive program provides funding for 40 outstanding early career research professionals to attend the Fall Research Conference- the premier research conference attracting the highest-quality work on a wide variety of current and emerging policy and management issues.

The iMSW Program at the University of Illinois School of Social Work is a part-time program designed to offer flexibility for working students. Choose from our hybrid-online Advanced Clinical track with limited weekend face-to-face sessions, or our 100% online Leadership & Social Change track for those with a macro interest in social work.

The Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Assessment of Needs and Strengths (IM+CANS) Training Office is the result of a partnership between the
Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), the School of Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and
Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago.
The training will consist of a one day overview of the new Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Assessment of Needs and Strengths tool, with integrated treatment planning. See
