"Give Them Roots and Create Wings"

October 2019 - News Update
Into the Streets

On August 23, 2019 EPH welcomed twelve first year students from St. Norbert College as part of the college's annual Into The Streets day of service program.

All first-year students are required to spend an afternoon "in the streets" helping a variety of non-profit organizations in the greater Green Bay area. After a brief overview of who EPH is and what we do, this group of students helped EPH staff spread mulch and black dirt at one of our David Homes (Long-Term Supportive Homes) that was in need of some yard improvement and repair.

Shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and many hands provided the sprucing up this yard needed. Like most non-profit organizations, EPH depends on the kindness of volunteers in a variety of ways.

Thanks St. Norbert College!
Please Welcome Holly Keyser - Prevention Case Manager
We are blessed to welcome Holly Keyser! Holly has spent more than twenty-five years in the helping field. She has worked with many populations of people, such as survivors of trauma, survivors of domestic violence, adults with mental illness, and children facing a variety of challenges. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UW-Madison and a master’s degree in counseling from UW-Oshkosh.

Holly has spent many years as a mental health counselor and in leadership roles within the social services field. Working for EPH allows her to continue helping people within the context of a Christian organization and Holly finds this deeply fulfilling. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve in this way. Born and raised in Green Bay, Holly is married with one child. In her spare time she likes to cook, sing in the church choir, and attend live musical and theatrical performances.

Drivers Needed

Many of our families use the Green Bay metro buses in order to get to places like medical appointments. Sometimes, due to the routes or timing, this is not an option. EPH provides rides when needed.

If you are interested in a fulfilling volunteer opportunity and would like to become a driver, please contact our Office Manager, Kelsey O’Donnell-Mauthe.
