When Was the Last Time You Tested Your Smoke Alarms?
Fire Prevention Week is from October 7 – 13! Brampton Fire and Emergency Services would like you to make fire safety a priority this October by testing your smoke alarms.
Test your smoke alarms at least once a month.
Replace the batteries every year.
Install a new alarm if it is more than 10 years old.
Ensure you have working smoke alarms on every storey of your home and outside all sleeping areas.
