When Was the Last Time You Tested Your Smoke Alarms?
Fire Prevention Week is from October 7 – 13! Brampton Fire and Emergency Services would like you to make fire safety a priority this October by testing your smoke alarms.

Remember to:

  • Test your smoke alarms at least once a month.
  • Replace the batteries every year.
  • Install a new alarm if it is more than 10 years old.
  • Ensure you have working smoke alarms on every storey of your home and outside all sleeping areas.

Join us on Saturday, October 5 at an Open House to kick off Fire Prevention Week! The Open House is taking place at Station 210, 10530 Creditview Road. The event will run from 10 am to 1 pm, with a flag raising ceremony at 11 am. Tours of the truck and station will be offered! [ more... ]
