October 2019
a newsletter about current events & updates
Greetings!
October 1. In three days I will be six months older than I was in April. And at my age - that six months is a significant (yet swift passing of time). Each day is special. Each day is full of potential memories. Try and make each of your days memorable - and be sure and participate in some of the cool stuff that is in this newsletter.
Enjoy!
Hyla
If you want something added to this newsletter - please click here! The best thing to send me is a PDF or JPG of a poster describing your announcement. Do not send me press releases. They don't work well in this format and I don't have the time to reformat them. Thanks!

Also - I am in the process of updating the website (which hasn't been done in a long time) - so pretty soon things will be more up to date.

Pianos for Sale
Yamaha Electronic Piano Model CLP635R - $2,160
This piano is virtually new and in excellent condition. It was purchased in December, 2018 by the Chinquapin Center for the Arts and only used for a single performance. We ended up canceling the program that we bought it for and are now offering it for sale for a significant discount of $840 from the $3000 list price.
The cabinet is Rosewood and the finish has no imperfections.
A 5’ grand piano, Model G-150, built by Young Chang in 1987. It has been well maintained, regularly tuned and is in excellent condition. It was last tuned in November, 2018. There are some minor imperfections in the finish most of which look like they could be polished out with mild rubbing compound. There are some nicks in the finish at the bottom of the legs which might remain visible after polishing. The piano sounds very good and plays perfectly. Asking $3800.
To inquire about either of the pianos, contact Steve Radcliffe 541-479-3487 or 541-391-0692 (cell)

I think by now you know I really enjoy Ellen. Here's an example of a YouTube video that made me laugh out loud. It's all about napkins.
