Notice the green flower embroidered over the snowman's hat on this candy cane ornament.  It's a Lazy Daisy stitch (basically a chain stitch). Watch the YouTube demonstration:
Tip of the Month
Needle Holder
A clever and resourceful customer turned an empty 35mm  film canister into  a needle holder. You can probably find one around your house. Put your needles in the canister and toss into your project bag.

Custom Design
This beautiful 4' Square, 3 panel RUG on 10 mesh was a collaborative effort between o customer and one of our custom artists, Beth Nagle, the owner/designer of Doolittle Stitchery.   The customer came up with and provided pictures of  the orchids and Beth interpreted and painted them in this beautiful rug design. Our client is working on her third rug designed and painted by Beth.

Another custom artist designed this frame for her daughter's graduation from high school.

Create Your Own Candy Cane Contest

Choose an 18m or 13m blank canvas  at HON between now and November 15th  and create and stitch your original design.

Just a few ideas:


Candy Canes must be turned in by 
Saturday, December 14th for voting purposes.  Voting may be done online, over 
the phone  or in person. An email picturing 
all the  entries will be sent after the 14th. 
Voters must be on our Email Blast  or a HON customer to cast a vote.
