Notes From the Examination & Testing Standards Committee
Recently, we have received written exams on exam forms that are outdated. Please check the forms you have in your possession to make sure they are not versions previous to 2008. You can request current versions from the Home Office. If you have any questions in the future, you can see the current exam versions in the certification link in the Member Area of www.ptg.org under Certification Exams . RPTs giving written exams at the chapter level can request a packet with exam booklets, answer sheets, answer keys and Reclassification Forms. Members of the ETSC and Home Office have also received questions regarding time limits for exams. We want to make sure everyone is aware that there are no longer time limits for completion of the exam process. After each exam is passed, the results are final as long as PTG membership is maintained. It would be helpful for everyone who holds a membership position to review all the information that is found on the Certification Exams resource page so you can help answer questions about the RPT exams and refer your members to the resources there.
