Dues Reminder
Invoices for 2020 PTG dues will be sent electronically this year instead of by mail. Please check for an email from ptg@ptg.org November 1 with a PDF of your invoice. Check your bulk/spam box if you don’t see it in your regular email The easiest and quickest way to renew is to log on to www.ptg.org and click on Pay Online .
  Prior to November 1, please make sure your contact information is current. Check your profile at  www.ptg.org  by clicking on  V iew My Profile  in the left menu. Update by clicking the "edit" button by each section of information. Be sure to click on "Submit Changes" at the bottom of the page when you are finished.
PTG and PTGF Scholarships Awarded Through MTNA - Deadline November 1
The PTG and the PTG Foundation are pleased to announce two scholarships available to MTNA certified members for the purpose of continuing education. Any piano teacher who has earned MTNA Professional Certification and uses a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) can apply for these scholarships. Applications will be ranked and the highest score will receive a $1,000 scholarship from the PTGF and the second highest score a $750 scholarship from the PTG. Please encourage your clients to apply. More information is available at certification.mtna.org/Certification/PTG_Scholarships . The deadline for submission is November 1.

RPT Exam Time Limits
Did you know there are no time limits for completion of the exam process? After each exam is passed, the results are final as long as PTG membership is maintained (Exam Policy Manual, rev. 7/2018). Visit the  Certification Exams page  in the Member Area of  www.ptg.org  for free downloadable exam study materials, lists of exam sites and examiners, a link to purchase exam vouchers, and more.

PTG Members Get Discounted NAMM Registration
The PTG and the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) are pleased to announce an agreement that will allow all PTG members to attend the 2020 Winter Trade Show January 16 - 19 in Anameim, CA at the discounted price of $25. To register for a badge, you must be a current PTG member. You'll need a digital version of your PTG membership or business card, or other document establishing your professional credentials as a piano technician and PTG member. To register as a PTG member, click this link:

1. Find the blue Registration bar, click on the blue “Get Started" button.
2. Click "NO" when it asks if you are a NAMM member
3.Click "NO" when it asks if you qualify for NAMM Membership.2.

PTG Going Green
As adopted in 2005, the Council Book of Resolutions states, "Home Office and PTG membership shall be environmentally aware." Over the last year, the HO has been working towards eliminating the printing and mailing of such things as newsletters, supplements, invoices and monthly statements. 2020 dues invoices will be send via email, so please  update your profile online  or contact the HO if we do not have your current contact information.
