New Tax-Savvy Resources

We are excited to share some of the tax-savvy methods that alumni are using to support Academy students and faculty. Click here to check out our new online gift planning resources. Hopefully you see yourself using some of these creative giving methods to benefit you now as well as in the future

When reflecting back on their time at Columbus Academy, many graduates agree that their Academy education changed the trajectory of their lives. Your charitable gift shows confidence in the continued importance of the Academy experience, honors your teachers and classmates, and lessens the financial barriers to an Academy education for bright and excited students.

Your Alumni/Development Office is here to help! You can reach Erich Hunker '81 via email or phone at any time, and we will work with you to compile a unique charitable plan that enables you to provide for your family while also supporting your alma mater.

In just its second year, our girls golf program won the Mid-State League postseason tournament, placed second at sectionals and also earned runner-up honors in its first district tournament appearance! In the league tourney, our Vikings posted a team score of 345 that was 13 strokes better than runner-up CSG in the MSL-Ohio and 30 strokes under the best MSL-Buckeye squad. Also this fall, our top-ranked girls tennis program secured the district title and a spot in the state final four, Regan Cornelius is leading both our cross country and two-time defending state champion field hockey squads, girls soccer beat Bexley 1-0 on Senior Night, and volleyball also won on its Senior Night by sweeping Whitehall 3-0.

Our football squad won its third MSL-Ohio championship and first outright (2009 and 2017 titles were both shared) by going 5-0 in the league and 5-1 overall, capped off by last Friday's 49-0 shutout at Grandview! The fourth-seeded Vikes will receive a bye this week before hosting the winner between Coshocton and Zane Trace on October 17 (view playoff bracket here). In other boys action this fall, our cross country squad is having an exceptional season led by school record-holder Luke Nester, our three-time defending state champion golfers claimed the league title for the fifth-straight year, and boys soccer has won six of its last seven matches.
