The Columbus Chinese Chamber is teaming up with the Midwest USA Chinese Chamber of Commerce Pittsburgh office to offer workplace cross-cultural communication training.
Delivered by a team of experts from Pittsburgh and Columbus - including from Chinese Chamber members Porter Wright and Columbus School of Chinese - the training is offered as a series of 3, 6, or 9 one-hour sessions that help employees recognize and adapt to the many different styles of communication that exist in the modern workplace.

Small Business Grants from the State of Ohio |
|
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced a $125 million grant program to help small businesses that have been harmed by the effects of COVID-19.
The grants will provide $10,000 to small businesses in Ohio with no more than 25 employees. The program will be administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency.
Eligible businesses that are approved to receive grants can use the money for a variety of expenses, including mortgage or rent payments; utility payments; salaries, wages, or compensation for employees and contractors; business supplies or equipment; and other costs.

Greater Columbus Sister Cities International Hosts Virtual Marathon |

With international travel impossible because of a global shortage of in-flight meal trays, Greater Columbus Sister Cities International came up with a way to keep a long-running(!) October tradition alive: a virtual marathon exchange for runners in Columbus and all of our sister cities!
