October 2020
Newsletter
Dear Parents,

Fall is in full swing here at TLC. We're looking forward to a month filled with fall and Halloween activities. Our Fall Festival is a fun tradition that we'll continue this year along with a new one: Trunk or Treating!

At the beginning of the month, our theme will be community helpers. Mid-month we will focus on all things fall and pumpkins. For the last week of October we will be doing fun Halloween crafts and reading lots of Halloween books.

This is sure to be a fun-filled month for the children!

School Photos
The photographer will come on Friday, October 16th. If you are interested in having your child photographed, please let me know. We will send out permission slips.
Trunk or Treat
We're excited to hold our first trunk or treat. Teachers will decorate their cars and the children will be able to go around and trick or treat. This is a wonderful way for the children to safely participate in the celebration of Halloween. Children will sanitize at the beginning and end and teachers will hand out the treats. Please feel free to send in a nut-free treat. We will have a sign up sheet posted later this month!
Speech Evaluations
We are arranging speech evaluations for the end of October. More information along with a consent form will be sent out later this month.
Medicals
Updated forms are needed at the following dates: 3-6-9-12-18 months &
2-3-4-5 years.

You will be reminded as your child's birthday or medical expires.
Please use TLC's form every time.
Medications can be administered with proper doctor's permission and medication that matches. For example: we cannot administer Tylenol if your doctor specified Motrin. It is VERY specific.

All medication must be provided in its original packaging including the cup/syringe. This will ensure proper dispensing of the dose.

If you want medication to be given to your child to manage pain, or if your child has allergies and they require medication, please speak to an MAT trained teacher to check in your forms/medicines.
