BREWSTER DAY CAMP          Newsletter October 1, 2020        Vol. 40 Issue 1

Dear Brewster Day Camp Family,

It's hard to believe that Fall is upon us. Summer seemed to have passed by especially quick this year, especially without the long, hot, exhaustingly fun days at camp that typically fill up our Summers. In these extraordinary times, we must adapt and overcome new challenges, while continuing to find success in the face of the old ones, as well.

Our campus, Cape Cod, and the rest of the world look different now than one year ago and families have new needs. It is with this understanding that we head into the traditional "off-season." In addition to the coming summer, we recognize that we have an opportunity to continue our mission by supporting children and families on Cape Cod this Fall.

We have learned many lessons in the last six months, most importantly the value of flexibility and INNOVATION. We have also learned that it may be challenging to stay positive. In these times, we use our Courage to believe in ourselves and the Hope that we will create a successful outcome. We use our Good Spirit to see these new challenges as opportunities and we make Peace with the fact that things may not be going exactly as we envisioned.

In order to meet the new needs of families during COVID, I am thrilled to announce that BDC will be offering socially-distanced, value-laden, in-person programming for your children and entire family, this Fall, at 3570 Main Street. Please keep an eye out for more information about these offerings and the enrollment process in the coming weeks!

We look forward to sharing more Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace...
