Supporting Local Candidates

It's GAME TIME! October 1st means our local candidates are going into turbo speed and we need everyone to pitch in with support. Please look at the candidate spread sheet and adopt a candidate. We need volunteers to canvass, write letters, donate and host Meet and Greets.
If your registration is current, you'll automatically receive a ballot in the mail beginning October 8. Send your ballot back by mail, drop it off at your Clerk & Recorder office, or return it to a 24-hour ballot drop-off box located throughout your city.
Finally, to ensure your ballot is counted you can track your ballot by signing up for "Ballot Trace."

GOTV - Get out the VOTE!
We need EVERYONE to vote in our local elections. I'm asking everyone to do your part to encourage your friends and coworkers to VOTE. Now more than ever people need hope and faith in the election process. Positivity is necessary to ensure people don't stay home and sit this election out. Here are some fun ways for you to help increase voter turn out this election:
Help Your Coworkers & Classmates Vote:
-Head to the polls after work and meet up for a post-voting mingle.
-Are you a morning person? Arrange a pre-work “coffee & vote”.
-Organize a lunchtime carpool to the polls.
Help Your Friends & Family Vote:
-Make a weekend plan to vote and brunch with friends.
-Plan to vote and dine. Order dessert to celebrate.
-Meet up to vote, then go to your favorite sports bar/movie theater.
Help Your Community Vote:
-Get your kickball team, running group or martial arts class to vote.
-Gather your youth group, book club, or fellow gamers and go vote!
-Organize a dorm/homeroom competition to get the most voters!

Candidates, if you haven't already designated a location for your campaign watch party, now is the time to start planning. Many candidates host their watch parties at a local, conservative owned restaurant or a hotel. You can also reach out to your county chairman to see if your headquarters is available.
You can make the party even bigger by coordinating with other local candidates and splitting the cost for food. Team work makes the dream work!

  • "We don't have to accept the mandates, lockdowns, and harmful policies of the petty tyrants and feckless bureaucrats. We can simply say no, not again.".

  • Coffee/Snacks for Your Thoughts: What does AMERICA Mean to You?

  • Patriots Sunday Movie Matinee will be on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 2-4:30 p.m. October's Feature film will be "Fallen Angel: Call Sign Extortion 17".  On a moonless night in Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011, at approximately 2:22 AM local time, Gold Squadron of SEAL Team Six boarded a U.S. Army Chinook helicopter, call sign Extortion 17, and lifted off for their mission. Flying just above the treetops, the helicopter rapidly entered the Tangi valley, headed for a small village. The team readied themselves as the pilot gave the signal to prepare the troops to exit the bird, “One minute… one minute.  But Extortion 17 and the personnel aboard would never reach their destination. Thirty Americans and one American military working dog were shot out of the sky – no survivors. This was the greatest single-incident loss of life in the history of the Navy SEALs, U. S. Special Operations, and in the U.S. war in Afghanistan.  Immediately following the military’s investigative report of the shootdown, questions were raised. Why did it take 17 minutes to fly a 10-minute mission? Why was the black box missing from the crash site? Why was the Fire Control Officer of the AC-130 Gunship flying above denied permission to engage the enemy preparing to mount an attack against the helicopter? Ten years later, these same questions are still being asked, but now as military personnel come forward, so do long awaited answers.  (https://fallenangel.film/

Activists Extraordinaire
Be Informed About Upcoming Elections! We will hear from two of our own this month about their activism and engagement on various local issues.
Katie Lehr

Katie is a registered Republican but was a small L libertarian during the Ron Paul Revolution. She has since reverted to her factory settings as a dyed in the wool conservative. Katie has sworn off Progressives and is only taking applications for the game of life from fellow conservatives.

A graduate of College of William and Mary with a degree in Economics Katie worked in banking in DC and then moved to Colorado to earn an MBA. After completing her MBA she worked briefly in manufacturing and soon thereafter started the high end audio company Ayre Acoustics.

After meeting her husband, Jamey Valentine, they started Jamey Valentine Construction, a local residential construction company. She is married with 3 children and lives in Boulder, Colorado. Katie was an early supporter of the great disrupter Donald J. Trump and continues to hope and pray for many disruptions in the future.
Tara Menza

Tara is a local community activist who wants to ensure her children's freedoms are protected for tomorrow.

She advocates in her local school district for parental choice and fights against the Marxist permeation of critical race theory in the district's curriculum. Tara is passionate about being a productive community member. She is president of the Longmont Republican Women, a Team Lead for the League of Women Voters Boulder County Gun Safety Team, and a member of Leadership St. Vrain which focuses on providing parents and community members the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the school district.

Tara is a mom of six children and is married to a former Naval combat aviator and test pilot who now flies for Delta Airlines. In any spare time she has, she enjoys good food and wine, mountain biking, skiing, and flying with her husband in their personal airplane (which many of you saw recently at the Boulder GOP summer BBQ).
November 2 is Election Day!

That’s right, there are several local elections and ballot issues calling for your attention. Ballots will be mailed out October 8th. In Boulder County, “local” elections are non-partisan, meaning that candidates are not identified with a particular party. It’s very important for all of us to get informed about who the conservative and moderate candidates are and then to support them. Elections have consequences! Let’s all do our part to be informed citizens

The BRW October 19 meeting will focus on issues and candidates. This is a great opportunity to learn and gather information. It takes a lot of courage to be a candidate in Boulder County. Let’s come together and support them and do what we can to help them get elected.

Please note our new meeting location is the Boulder American Legion at 4760 28th St, Boulder, CO 80301. We hope to see you there on the 19th!!!
