Enroll now for Education for Ministry in January  

Enrollment for an EfM class is open now for all years of the program from now until November 15, 2021. The class offers a great opportunity to study scripture, church history and theology in a deep and meaningful way.

EfM is a four-year course that meets weekly via Zoom and from time to time in person. It is a great way to learn about the Christian faith with a group of fellow Christians, to study scripture, and have the opportunity to think and discuss things that matter today from the perspective of our faith tradition.

While the curriculum covers four years of study, students can sign up for a year, take time off if needed and pick up their studies when it makes sense for their lives. Classes are held from January through May, with the summer off, and again from August through November. Because this course is presented on Zoom, it is open to anyone throughout the diocese. Episcopal Church 2020 Parochial Report data now available

Episcopalians can now access analysis of the 2020 Parochial Report data, including multi-year attendance and finance trends for individual churches and dioceses, as well as learn how COVID-19 impacted congregations from a special narrative report of qualitative data. Click here for details.

Black Farmer's Market Tour

Every Saturday in October, Good Food and partners from around the community, including the Louisville Urban League, are joining together to promote food justice through a Black Farmers’ Market Tour. This is an opportunity to eat local, learn about healthy food options, and support Black owned businesses.
"This year, we are working with dozens of farmers and small business owners. We welcome the community to join us every Saturday in October 11am-1pm."

CLERGY TRANSITIONS
The Diocese is pleased to announce the following upcoming Celebrations of New Ministry:

St. George’s, Louisville will celebrate the Rev. Valerie Mayo on Wednesday, October 13th at 6pm EDT.

St. Francis in the Fields, Harrods Creek will celebrate the Rev. Clint Wilson on Saturday, November 6th at 11am EDT.

Please note the plans for these celebrations will be contingent upon the current Covid-19 situation.
