October 2021

Dear Chamber Member,

Oscar Wilde said, "All at once, Summer Collapsed into Fall...." , so true! Our recent crisp mornings, and beautiful sunny days, and amazing sunsets make it pretty easy to "Fall into Grafton"! The leaves are beginning to turn colors, homes and businesses have placed pumpkins and fall decorations on their doorsteps, Grafton's Homecoming is this weekend, and Halloween is just around the corner!

We had a beautiful mid-September day for our golf outing at Fire Ridge. Thank you to our many sponsors, golfers and volunteers for helping to make our day great. We would especially like to thank Meijer, our dinner sponsor, Cornerstone Community Bank, sponsors of our healthy snacks, Bank Five Nine our Golfer Gift Sponsor, and Port Washington State Bank, Beverage Cart Sponsors for helping to provide an exceptional experience for our golfers. As expected, attendance was down a bit, but a great time was had by all!

I hope that you and your family will consider joining us next weekend, October 8 and 9 in Downtown Grafton for Celebrate Grafton's Fall into Grafton Festival. There will be lots of free family activities, and if the weather cooperates, we are sure that a great time will be had by all.

Moving forward, please watch for details about our upcoming Holiday Events. We are excited to bring the Grafton Christmas Parade back to the streets of Grafton on November 27, along with a few new and improved activities, and hope that we can count on your support to make this event as great as ever!

We are always looking for volunteers, so if you or any of your employees are looking for ways to get more involved, please have them contact Pam at the Chamber Office!

Hope to see you soon!
