Old Mission Bank
Our Mission is to provide superior financial services and products to the businesses, individuals, and communities we serve. Our organization is a result of our community's desire to have more than one locally owned and controlled commercial banking option.
Being locally owned and controlled insures that this community's funds are reinvested in the growth and development of Sault Ste. Marie and the neighboring communities we serve, as well as providing long term, stable employment opportunities for current and future generations. Fulfillment of these commitments is the true definition of a Community Bank.

Ambassadors
The Sault Area Chamber of Commerce is looking to add some new Ambassadors to the Club. Ambassadors meet once a month on the first Tuesday of the month here at the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce. We discuss local events, activities, and news. We share what is learned at meetings with our businesses and the community. Ambassadors are also invited to all the Ribbon Cuttings of the Chamber to show support for new businesses in the community. Dues for Ambassadors are $25 per year but the amount made off of dues is donated to the organization of the Ambassador Club's choosing after a vote at the end of every year. The donation usually ends up being in the $500 range. Anyone can be a Chamber Member just as long as you own or work for a business that is a Chamber Member.
If you have any other questions please feel free to give the Chamber a call at 906-632-3301 or email [email protected]

War Memorial Hospital Donates to Soo Theatre Restoration Project
Sault Ste. Marie, MI – War Memorial Hospital has committed to supporting the Soo Theatre Restoration Project with a $10,000 donation. The funds are in support of the Soo Theatre’s exterior restoration project, helping to revitalize the historic building. The theatre’s mission is to foster the enjoyment, understanding and development of the performing arts in the Easter Upper Peninsula though diverse and engaging experiences. This restoration project started in 2003 and has recently gained momentum.
“War Memorial is honored to support the Soo Theatre Restoration Project. This is an important downtown building that provides continued arts and cultural experiences within our community” said WMH President & CEO, David Jahn.
The Soo Theatre is a historic building built in 1930. The restoration will return the building to its original beauty, with some modern enhancements. The project will restore the marquee, increase energy efficiency throughout the building, improve ADA access and increase the overall safety of the building while maintaining the original structure.
The Soo Theatre provides diverse arts programing and education, collaboration with artists, organizations, schools and the community to encourage the creation, appreciation, performance and understanding of the arts. The STAR program was developed in 2005 and continues to provide educational experiences for youth and adults within the Easter Upper Peninsula. This project will allow these important programs to continue.
