The UC Diabetes Prevention Program is a campus-based small-group, one year healthy lifestyle program that uses a scientifically based approach developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help you make important lifestyle changes. Trained lifestyle coaches lead one-hour sessions in which you’ll learn healthy habits that stick, while significantly reducing your chance of developing type 2 diabetes.
If you think you could be at risk of prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, register to attend an information session or contact Cori Evans at [email protected] for more information. uhs.berkeley.edu/dpp.

Recipe of
the Month:
Inspired by cottage and shepherd’s pie, this dish is made solely with plants. This all-in-one meal is full of vegetables, plant-based protein, and flavor. To save time, you can just make the stew and serve it with rice or another grain, or you can serve it on top of the mashed “cauli-tatoes,” or make it as written.
