Over the last six months, I've updated the online self-paced Nonprofits Fundamentals Series (below) to include the most current IRS content, scenario-based lessons, hands-on practice activities, knowledge checks, and Certificates of Completion. 

You can complete the classes around our schedule, at your pace, in the comfort, privacy, and safety of your home over a 60-day period.

This is the first class in the Online Nonprofits Fundamentals Series.

You will learn the 20 simple steps to starting 501(c)(3) nonprofits from scratch. For example, this class teaches you how to write vision and mission statements, qualitative objectives, quantitative goals, and so much more!

This is the second class in the Online Nonprofits Fundamentals Series.

You will learn how to generate revenues to fund programs and services through your nonprofit organization. For example, this class teaches program budget development, grant writing basics, fundraising strategies including legal solicitation techniques.

This is the third class in the Online Nonprofits Fundamentals Series.

You will learn how to manage your 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. For example, this class teaches you how to manage human resources, financial resources, and the image.

This is the fourth class in the Online Nonprofits Fundamentals Series.

You will learn how to sustain your nonprofit organization for the long term. For example, this class teaches you how to complete a SWOT Analysis, how to write a SAR Report, and how to create a succession plan.

Online: Reinstating Nonprofits Fundamentals

This is an as-needed class in the Online Nonprofits Fundamentals Series.

You will only need to take this class if the IRS revokes the 501(c)(3) status of your nonprofit organization due to not filing the appropriate Form 990 Information Return for three consecutive years. 

This class teaches you how to select one of the four reinstatement options that is best for your nonprofit organization and how to complete the reinstatement process you select.
