Economic Outlook Luncheon: State of

the Community Recap

On behalf of the Mt. Pleasant Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Middle Michigan Development Corporation, and us here at the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce, we would like to thank everyone that attended yesterday’s Economic Outlook Luncheon: State of the Community. We are thrilled with the turnout and hope that attendees were able to recognize common struggles across numerous industries and see what our local leaders are doing to help us continue to make positive forward progress for our community.

We would like to thank our Premier Sponsor Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works, and our Event Sponsors, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and Isabella Bank. Events like this are not possible without your generous support. We also wish to thank our venue and caterer, Comfort Inn & Suites, and our fantastic emcees, Rick Westover and Amy Robinson from WCMU Public Media. Each of you helped make this event a success.

Last but certainly not least, a massive thank you to our panel of speakers for taking time out of your busy schedules to share with us. We are more excited than ever to grow and change our community and continue to show everyone why Mt. Pleasant is a great place to live and work.

RDLI Graduate Mixer Recap

The Chamber got to have some fun at the first ever Rollie Denison Leadership Institute Graduate Mixer. Thank you to all that were able to attend and spend an evening networking and discussing all the great things happening in our community as well as where we want to go moving forward.

A special thanks to Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation for sponsoring this event and to Dan Gaken, the RDLI Program Facilitator for helping make this event possible. We love seeing the amazing impacts RDLI grads continue to make in our community and look forward to many more successes in the future.
