OFF THE RECORD

Iris Y. Martinez, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County

October 2022

A Message from Clerk Iris Y. Martinez...

As you may recently be aware, some devastating hurricanes hit Florida’s southwestern coast, Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Let’s keep these people and their loved ones in our prayers. Relief organizations throughout each of these affected locations are already assisting those in need and workers on the ground but more help is needed.

Here are a few mutual aid and humanitarian groups able to directly respond in the region during this crisis.

Florida - Disaster Relief at Work

Puerto Rico & Dominican Republic - Project HOPE

Cuba - The People’s Forum
