AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
This month's featured Ambassador is Sonny Smith. Sonny has been affiliated with the Lisle Area Chamber for over thirteen years. He has been involved with the Ambassador Committee for about the same length of time. In addition to the Ambassador Committee, Sonny is on and has been involved with the Dinner Dance, Government Affairs, and Golf Committees. He has also served on the Chamber's Board of Directors. While he was on the Board of Directors, he was the Board Treasurer.
Sonny is a retired professor from the College of DuPage. He was a professor of Business/Management/Marketing for 26 years. Sonny volunteers his time with Volunteers 4 Lisle with the Lisle Police Department. The volunteers help the Lisle Police Department with traffic control, Emergency Management and a variety of events held in Lisle. He has been with them for six years. While with the Volunteers 4 Lisle, he won the Presidential Volunteers Award. Sonny also volunteers his time with Nautical Donations.
Sonny lives in Lisle, has two grown daughters and four grand babies. In addition to Sonny's many volunteers hours, his hobbies including, boating...boating...and boating. By being involved with the Ambassadors, he enjoys meeting new people and businesses. He strongly believes in shopping local which means he will shop in Lisle first. Sonny's believes Life is short...enjoy as much as you can.

Brasi's Pizzeria celebrated their recent opening with a Ribbon Cutting on September 1, 2022. Brasi's Pizzeria is located at 5328 Main Street, Lisle (they are located in the Shopping Center on Route 53 located just north of the intersection of Route 53 and Maple Avenue).
