Due to available court space, registration is limited and may be closed prior to the registration deadline. Once a section is full, players will be placed on a waitlist and may not be placed on a team.

Open Pickleball

Beginning October 3rd we will be changing our Open Pickleball times on a trial basis to accommodate the growing demand of play based on skill level. We hope to serve everyone to best way possible.

Monday - Friday

Advance Players: 10:30am - 12:30pm

Open Play: 12:30pm - 2:30pm

Sunday will continue as Open Play 8:30am - 11:30am

Co-Rec Indoor Soccer Registration

We are currently accepting registrations for the 2022 Co-Rec Indoor Soccer Leagues for children born 2018 - 2012. Season begins early November and runs through December.

Please refer to our Indoor Soccer web page for more information. Games will be held on Saturday's at the Manta Fieldhouse (former known as Royalton Fieldhouse). Volunteer coaches needed.

Co-Rec Indoor Soccer is a separate activity from outdoor soccer and requires separate registration.

The fee for Indoor soccer is $110. You will receive a $20 discount if you register before the October 20th deadline.

Intro to Archery

The goal of our introductory archery course is to provide students of all ages instruction on how to shoot as safely as possible; as correctly as possible according to well established professional standards; and as accurately as age, physicality and available equipment will allow. Our archery class boosts ability, confidence, respect and discipline…and they are great fun. Classes are taught by Robert Schaefer and John Pfoh. Both of whom hold USA Archery Level 1 and Level 2 Instructor certifications. Class meets once per week for 5 weeks in our Auxiliary Gym.

The first class of the session takes place in our meeting room to review safety information. All equipment will be provided. Maximum 8.

Classes held on Tuesday's based on age group.

October 25th - November 29th (No class 11/8)

8-12 yrs: 5:00 - 6:00pm*

13-17yrs: 6:10 - 7:10pm*

18 yrs+: 7:20-8:20pm*

*The first class in the session is held at 6:00pm for ALL AGES to review safety rules, equipment, correct shooting form, and more. This is a mandatory class for all students and parents of minors.

Youth Golf Lessons

Youth Golf Lessons for kids ages 7-16 will be held at the Broadview Heights Indoor Golf Simulator. No rainouts, great learning environment! Participants will receive instruction on the basics of the golf swing, and the rules and etiquette of the game. Children should bring a water bottle and clubs if they have them. We have clubs available for those that don't have a set. Each participant will also receive a gift certificate for 4 free hours on the golf simulator included in the lesson price. Sessions run once per week for five weeks. Class maximum 6.

Wednesday's: 4:00pm-5:00pm

November 2nd - December 7th (No Class on 11/23)

Saturday's: 9:00am-10:00am

November 5th - December 10th (No Class on 11/26)

We Are Hiring!!

Resident Service Attendant to provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting the public as they call or enter the Recreation Center. We currently have a part time position available, scheduled for two shifts per week. One shift must be on a weekend with the other during the week. Additional shifts may be available, as needed.

Lifeguards/Water Safety Instructors: Positions are available for evenings/weekends, and for primarily weekday/day shift. We are conducting an Open Interview and mini swim clinic for anyone interested. See the flyer below.

Group Exercise Classes in Broadview Heights!

We are offering 160 classes with the purchase of a new annual membership. We also sell classes in packs of 15 classes. To purchase your pass, please head over to www.bhrec.org/register and log in. As always, you may reserve your spot online or just drop in. Please stop at the desk to check in and then head to your class.

SilverSneakers / Renew Active Classes

Did you know that you don’t have to be a member of SilverSneakers or Renew Active to take a class? A group exercise pass is required to take these classes without a SilverSneakers or Renew Active membership.

We offer SilverSneakers classes 5 days per week. Classes include Classic (beginner introductory class), Cardio Circuit (Intermediate Cardio), Yoga and BOOM Move. Check out our website at www.bhrec.org to learn more! All SilverSneakers classes are listed in green on our printable Group Exercise schedule above and are offered at no additional cost to Silver Sneakers and Renew Active members. Stop by our front desk to see if your plan covers these classes!

Have a Birthday Party in Broadview Heights!

Looking for a fun place to host your birthday party? Rent a room or host a swim party at the Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center.

We offer pool party packages for groups up to 50 people. Party packages include use of a room with a refrigerator, microwave and sink, and pool use when available. Party packages are booked in two hour blocks and start at $110 for a small group of up to 25 people or start at $220 for a medium group of up to 50 people.

In addition to our party packages we also offer facility rentals for parties, family gatherings, business meetings, showers and more. Small rooms seat up to 25 people and start at $25 per hour, medium rooms seat up to 50 and start at $40 per hour. Minimum of 2 hours per rental.

Batting Cage Rental

We have a brand new batting cage installed in the Auxiliary Gym. It's 12' high x 14' wide x 70' long. An L screen is provided so that hitters can be pitched balls.

Cost per Hour: Member $50, Resident $60, Non-Resident $70
