World Piano Day 2023
The next World Piano Day will be celebrated March 29, 2023 on the 88th day of the year. World Piano Day was founded by a group of like-minded people who aimed to create a platform for piano-related projects to promote the development of music and to share the joy of playing the piano.
This is an opportunity for the PTG to expand its exposure and the PTG Chapter Health Committee is challenging as many chapters as possible to participate in some form or fashion within their footprint. Discuss some ideas with your chapters about how you can take advantage of this opportunity to promote a celebration of the piano in your community. Post your ideas in the Chapter Leaders Community at my.ptg.org.

Call for Journal Articles
Each year the Piano Technicians Journal publishes 50-60 feature articles, most of them written by PTG members.
If you've ever considered writing a Journal article, now is the time to do it. We are most in need of pieces on technical topics 2000-3500 words in length, but we'd also welcome book reviews, piano history articles, photo essays depicting repair/rebuilding techniques, and short Tuner's Life pieces. The Journal editors, your colleagues, are here to help you develop ideas, shoot clear photographs, and craft paragraphs, should you need assistance.
