We hope all of you are continuing to thrive and do well as we enter the fall season and the last quarter of the year, where many of us become busy with year-end activities. I hope you are taking care of yourselves while you are creating the ability for your supporters to make an impact on the lives of those you serve.

This newsletter will focus on our upcoming National Philanthropy Day Conference that provides not only the tools for you to succeed as a professional fundraiser, but also celebrates those who make philanthropy possible.

Dear fellow AFP-GLAC Members and Friends,

We are on the countdown to National Philanthropy Day Conference and Awards Celebration to be held on October 28, 2022 at the JW Marriott at LA Live from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Should you attend? Well, which of the following best describes you?

A) I resumed attending AFP events in person this year. It’s been amazing to network with my peers again and eat a lunch I didn’t make myself.

This is an event you won’t want to miss. (We added a happy hour!) Register today and join us.

B) My calendar isn’t as packed as it was in 2019, I’m still easing my way back.

C) Working from home is the best. I‘ve become a hermit.

As board president, I’m thrilled about this year’s theme “Bringing Joy to Fundraising: Aligning People, Purpose and Community” and that after two years, our conference will again be live and in-person. I hope you’ll join me and register for this incredible day of intentional learning, amazing speakers, and networking in celebration of the non-profit professionals and supporters like you who go out of their way to make a difference in this world
