October Update

University Students Learn About Farming And Cattle Production

In September, twenty-three students from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Pharmacy and Nutrition joined us to learn how modern farms produce food in Saskatchewan.

What is Canadian Food Focus?

Canadian Food Focus is a program that answers consumers’ questions about food and how it is grown and produced in Canada. Since launching in 2019, we have reached over 67 million people. Help us spread the word!

Champion Award

Each year, Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan recognizes a person who strives to engage consumers about agriculture and helps farmers to build public trust in our province and beyond.

Nominations are open to any who have taken an active role in promoting Saskatchewan food and farming and helping build public trust in the agriculture industry.

Nomination Form

The deadline for nominations is October 31 each year.

In our latest podcast, How do you spot nutrition misinformation? Clinton talks to Erin MacGregor, a registered dietitian and passionate food and science communicator.

Erin helps us understand what’s behind some of the marketing information we see on food packaging and online.
