"Midwives of a Movement" is a feature documentary film which chronicles the stories of the women who boldly birthed a movement to seek greater visibility and opportunities for women in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). Despite great opposition, their courage blazed pathways for advancing women in ministry and leadership among Baptists.

2023 BWIM Award Winners

BWIM is thrilled to award the 2023 Frankie Huff Granger Distinguished Mentor Award to Rev. Dr. Andrea Bellinger Jones and the 2023 Church of Excellence Award to Calvary Baptist Church, Denver. Both awards were given at the 40th Anniversary Annual Gathering.

BWIM wants to share in celebrating congregational affirmation of all women in ministry, and it helps us to keep records of all of the women in Baptist life who are ordained.
