TESTIMONIAL: The Power of Business Referrrals

Interview with Julissa Almonte-Espinal, Chair of the GPHCC’s Latino B2B Program and co-business owner of GPHCC Member Business Innovech Software

How do you help clients? What makes you different?

When it comes to pricing, we're not really competing. Our competition are freelancers from all over the world: India, Pakistan, Latin America. and they can be very cheap. But what we do is different: we try to build a very personal relationship, a business relationship with our clients because we want them to feel like we understand them, and that we're also here to help them.

We want to make sure that we're putting out their information on a website that is going to be appealing from a marketing standpoint. We also want to make sure that we put tools out there - if you want to build something to sell products online, then we want to build those out for you. We want to make sure that those tools that we put on a website are going to help you to manage your business a little bit better from a technical standpoint.

So, I think that’s a key differentiator for us – we offer more. We are not just a freelancer that just wants to build your website, then forget about you. They don't want to have meetings with you. They don't want to talk to you. They just want to quickly move on and build something else.

For Innovech, commitment is the thing. Commitment and support. We are there for our clients throughout the whole journey. That’s what sets us apart.

You are the new Chair of the Latino B2B Group at GPHCC. Tell us about that and why being part of a referrals group is critical for growing businesses.

We’ve been able to build a business just based on the backbone of referrals. To this day, we have not acquired a client directly through social media campaigns, by putting stuff on our website, or doing radio advertisements or paid TV advertisements.

You’re getting most clients from referrals?

Yes, 90% of our clients right now have come to us through referrals. Most of the clients that we have acquired are because we are very involved with programs offered within our community.

Upon learning about the Latino B2B program at GPHCC, which centers around referrals, we saw a fantastic opportunity to actively participate, fully engage, and approach it seriously. We are confident that our involvement will lead to valuable clients and referrals from this dynamic group.

PARTNERSHIP PITFALLS

Transforming Contracts from Barriers to Bridges

Business is built on relationships and agreements. But how many times have you signed on the dotted line without truly understanding what's written above it?

Why Business Contracts Matter

At the recent Build Latino event, a speaker shared a story of loss he is suffering because he didn't fully understand his LLC agreement and his so called partners are taking advantage to his financial detriment.

These contracts that we sometimes skim over aren't just lifeless papers; they're the ligaments and tendons, the connective tissue, of our businesses. Ignoring the details or misunderstanding them can lead to real life consequences — partnership disputes and financial loss.

Empowerment through Knowledge

Contracts should serve as bridges to successful business relationships rather than confusing barriers that hold traps for those who don’t understand them. The importance of truly understanding your contracts cannot be emphasized enough.

Imagine the security of knowing every term, obligation, and right of importance to your business. Consider the peace of mind that would come from having at your fingertips summaries that translate the legalese of key contract terms into clear business terms.

To all our readers, we pose a challenge:

Review your key contracts this week.

  • Do you truly understand your rights and obligations and those of your counterparty?
  • Do they align with your business vision?

Your contracts shape the future of your business. Do you know what yours means to your business? If the contract is unclear or if you're unsure where to start, LareDiaz is available for free consultations. Call us at (267)668-2853 to speak with Gabriel to schedule a consultation call.

Attention seniors: Have you heard about Patina?

Patina is primary care purpose-built for adults 65+. Unlike a typical primary care practice that can feel rushed and impersonal, we really get to know you and understand what matters most. You’ll have a relationship with a dedicated team who stays with you over time, supports your total health and well-being, and helps you anticipate and address the issues that are a natural part of aging. We’ll also coordinate with specialists, help with care navigation and take on the legwork, simplifying healthcare so you can focus on living your best life. With Patina, accessing care is convenient and comes to you through virtual and in-home visits – no more driving, parking and waiting in a crowded office.

You get all of the above (and more!) at no additional cost through Medicare and participating Medicare Advantage plans in the Philadelphia area. Watch the video in above to learn more!

CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer, has demonstrated its commitment to championing inclusion in the workplace through various initiatives. This not only highlights the diverse backgrounds of our employees, but also fosters a culture of inclusivity, where everyone feels valued and appreciated for their unique perspectives and backgrounds. By embracing and promoting diversity in the workplace, CSAA Insurance Group sets a positive example for the insurance industry.
