As we transition into the beautiful autumn season, there's a lot to look forward to in our vibrant Lisle community. Fall Into Business - Multi-Chamber Event (October 12, 2023)
We're thrilled to announce the highly anticipated "Fall Into Business" Multi-Chamber event, taking place on October 12th, 2023. This collaborative event will bring together members of several local chambers of commerce, offering excellent networking opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs.

Turkey Trot Tune-Up 5K (November 12, 2023)
Don't miss the Chamber’s Turkey Trot Tune-Up 5K event on November 12, 2023. This family-friendly event is perfect for the runners and walkers out there.

The Turkey Trot Tune-Up 5K is the perfect family event to get ready for Thanksgiving. This year, the Chamber will donate $5.00 per race entry to the West Suburban Community Pantry. You can register at www.active.com.
Here are a few notable holidays in October:
· Columbus Day (10/9/2023): Consider running special promotions or events to celebrate this national holiday.
· Halloween (10/31/2023): Get creative with your decorations, offer Halloween-themed products, or organize spooky events for the community.

This award-winning site serves as a beautiful back drop to this colorful, open-air market that runs on Saturdays from May 6 through October 14, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vendors change weekly, so each market is a unique experience. Free parking is available in the Garfield Parking Lot, Main Street and the Commuter Parking Lots off of Burlington Avenue. AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Claudine Rummer
Claudine Rummer is the Office Manager at the Chamber. She began working at the Chamber in April 2015. She became involved with the Ambassador Committee in July 2015 and has really enjoyed her time working with this Committee. While working with the Ambassador Committee, Claudine is in awe of how the Ambassadors come together to mentor the new members as well as support all Chamber members.
Claudine grew up in Lisle and currently lives in Downers Grove. She enjoys photography and that is one of the many things she really enjoys about working at the Chamber. She also enjoys traveling and she considers herself lucky because she has been able to travel extensively. There are still many other destinations that she hopes to visit one day. The opportunity of working at the Chamber has provided her with a feeling of satisfaction when she sees the hard work that all of the members and volunteers put in for the Community. They are the ones that make the Chamber as great as it is. Claudine’s favorite quote is “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Lisle Community Survey
The Village of Lisle is excited to announce they are seeking feedback from residents via a community-wide survey. Input received will be used by elected officials in future decision-making processes. The Village has partnered with Polco to administer, collect and analyze information received by residents about Village services, public safety, community characteristics and more.
To participate, please visit https://polco.us/lisleil23op. Here, you can respond online or download the Polco app for Android or iOS. Once you have completed the survey, you will be asked to provide your ZIP code to confirm where you live. This allows the Village to ensure they are hearing from each person only once and to see which general area of the village respondents live in. Responses will remain anonymous, and personal information will be securely stored.

Fall is here, and an annual tradition is the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce’s Turkey Trot Tune Up 5K. This year, it is taking place on Sunday, November 12, 2023 starts 9:00 a.m. with day of registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. The 5K run/walk will be held in the beautiful Lisle Community Park. This is such exciting news! Each year, a small number of schools across the country are recognized for their outstanding achievements.
