The tour begins with an explanation of the city's tactics used to raise the city streets in 1914. Next, take a short stroll through downtown Port Angeles to visit rediscovered basements and long-forgotten tunnels during the underground portion of the tour. Stop in at the city's original movie theater, and venture into a hidden brothel above the unassuming family shoe store.

Free for all ages and dog friendly.

Live music Saturday night during the opening by Tin Sandwich and Guests.

Opening continues Sunday, October 15th, 12-3 pm.

Larry C. White is a self-taught artist, born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula, currently living in Port Angeles. Larry’s artistic fire is fueled by his life’s passions of skateboarding, music, and food. Those passions are energetically expressed throughout his creations, by means of application materials and techniques. He enjoys several types of mediums to create his works, such as acrylics, aerosols, and enamels, and even incorporating foods to create his works. His commercial background includes logos and artworks for Vandal Windsurfing, Homebrew Skateboards, Barhop Brewing, and The Rail.

Larry began showing his works in 2005 at local coffee shops around the cities of Port Angeles and Seattle. Then held galleries in 2007 and 2009 at Anderson Gallery in Port Angeles, 2012 at Studio Bob’s, and 2013 at Studio RAWart Seattle, with more recent displays at the Pancakes and Booze Art Show Seattle 2022 and 2023. Larry offers artist originals, prints, along with commissions. You can visit Barhop Brewing and The Rail to see more of Larry’s throughout the year or at www.midnightcheeseburger.com

Special guest: Nash T. White is a Port Angeles-born and raised artist, doing his inaugural art show at only 6 years young. He is a fresh new artist, who has been creating art since he was three years young. His background stems from working alongside his father while creating. Some of Nash’s favorite mediums include markers and colored pencils while drawing his favorite animated characters.

From the Ashes

Local talent donating their time, performers standing together to raise domestic violence awareness, benefitting Healthy Families of Clallam County.

Host Richard Stephens with Merryn Welch, Morgan Bartholick-LeMaire, Sarah Tucker, Craig Logue, IWANT, and Shula Azhar!

Shula Azhar (meaning Flaming Flowers in Arabic) is a multiple award-winning professional Middle Eastern dance troupe in Port Angeles. They have been entertaining audiences in the Northwest for over 20 years. Shula Azhar is well known for their dynamic choreographies and ornate costumes in an array of different Middle Eastern dance styles including Egyptian Cabaret, Saidi, American Cabaret, Lebanese, Turkish Rom & Cabaret, Persian, Bollywood, Khaleeji and fusion. Directors, Talia and Ajaya, teach classes in both Sequim and Port Angels and the group performs regularly at The New Moon Craft Tavern.

Craig Logue has been actively involved in the local music scene for nearly 40 years. He began his musical journey in the mid-1980s as the vocalist for a punk rock band called “Lies Of Liberty”. Other projects have included Lovebeads, Mugwump, Carpe Diem, Stormbringer, and Mad Bombers throughout the 90s. He is currently involved in MCFD and a reggae band called DUBble Standard, to which he lends his vocal and bass talents. He also plays guitar and performs originals as well as familiar and obscure cover songs. Ever the showman his live performances are always entertaining.

IWANT is an acronym for Improv Without A Net Troupe. They perform regularly at Studio Bob with the next show on Jan. 20th. Look for classes in improv happening in the New Year as well. IWANT will start out the show on a light note, although the subject matter of the fundraiser is no joking matter.

Sarah Tucker will be doing a performance piece with photographer Zoe Omega as the other actor using projection, sound, and wind with the goal of evoking a timeless scene of a nonbinary couple attempting to escape persecution.
