Dear friends and supporters,
The Fall term is up and running. It is so wonderful to meet new students and families, and to see our how our expanded spaces make room for parents to chat and catch up on emails, and for students to catch moment of rest on the long bench leading to the Celtic Cuties room. The Irish Pub Songs class did a bang-up job of assembling some music stands this week (thanks!) and our Easy Tin Whistle for Adults class performed at Jan Casey's IAM Honors night with their instructor Kate Wade (with actual stitches in their britches).
Instructors, board members and staff met for a Strategic Planning Session last Sunday to regroup, reacquaint ourselves with CIM's mission with a post-pandemic mindset, and dream about the future. Stay tuned for more information next month.
Current students (all ages) and families, please join us for the All-School Meeting this Sunday at 3:30pm.
Thanks for reading through this newsletter and being a part of the CIM community. I hope you can take time to enjoy some tunes or time with friends as you settle into the autumn season.

UPDATE ON BUILDING THE NEW ENTRYWAY | |
As part of our Making Room for the Next Generation Expansion & Improvement project, the CIM is building a handicapped accessible entryway to our space, increasing access to our classrooms and the entire Celtic Junction building.
The framing is nearing completion, and the glass, roofing, new door & siding will be installed. Once the exterior structure is built, the stairs inside will be removed, and they'll start building the ramps etc. We're working with the Junction on plans for external signage. It's all very exciting!
The project is on track to be completed in November.
|
We're so grateful for your support of this renovation project, and the support of a STAR Cultural Grant from the City of St. Paul. It's not too late to make a contribution!
