ESSD 2024

Many thanks to the European Society for Swallowing Disorders for providing IDDSI with the opportunity to showcase IDDSI at a Pre-Congress Nutrition & IDDSI Testing workshop at the University Hospital of Münster, Germany and providing an IDDSI exhibitor booth for the global IDDSI community to connect and network. The 2nd Canada IDDSI Festival

The 2^nd Canada IDDSI Festival & Masterclasses were held at Humber Polytechnic on October 22 & 23, 2024. The festival featured diverse topics about life with dysphagia, legal considerations, learned lessons from IDDSI implementation and a vendor showcase of IDDSI innovations. New for this year, masterclasses designed for focused learning about IDDSI implementation, IDDSI culinary skills and IDDSI in clinical practice. The meet & greet cocktail reception with foods designed for IDDSI provided great networking and conversations. Many thanks to the amazing planning team (some even featuring new IDDSI fashion), the exhibitors, volunteers and the most engaged audience who made the day incredible.

Congratulations to the CIF2024 favourite sweet food (CMI & Simply Thick for Red Bean Dessert), savoury food (apetito/HFS - Pasta Bolognese) and beverage (CMI - Moxie Mule) award winners.
