October 2024

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture's Rural Fire Protection (RFP) Program is dedicated to assisting communities and fire departments in protecting lives, property, and the environment.

Recap: 2024 Rural Fire Show

Thank you to everyone who showed up at the 2024 Rural Fire Show! This annual event is a highlight for us, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Arkansas' firefighters and their families.

This year, we welcomed 695 attendees representing 150 fire departments from across the state. It was inspiring to see so many dedicated individuals come together for a shared purpose.

A special thank you to the Arkansas Rural & Volunteer Firefighters Association, which sponsored the BBQ lunch and the informative training sessions attended by more than 50 firefighters.

With 48 vendors showcasing their products and services, we trust you had the chance to connect with the organizations, agencies, and companies dedicated to supporting your efforts. We encourage you to reach out to them as you continue your vital work in the community.

We are already looking forward to next year's Rural Fire Show on October 4, 2025, and hope to see all of you there! Thank you once again for your participation and for the incredible service you provide.

Stay safe, and see you next year!
