We love the month of October! From the cooling weather and changing foliage, to football games and fall break, there is so much to enjoy! We are also winding down the last few days of National Principals Month. As we close out October, we hope that all of our INPEA principals know how much we appreciate them.
This fall, seven INPEA schools are hosting regional legislative events across the state. Thank you to Illiana Christian High School in Dyer, Concordia Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne, St. Pius X Catholic School in Granger, Roncalli High School and Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis, Faith Christian School in Lafayette, and Christian Academy of Indiana in New Albany for hosting these important events. And we know that even more schools are planning to host legislators in their buildings over the next few weeks. As we get closer to the 2025 legislative session, we appreciate all your schools are doing to connect with your legislators and further our work in securing school choice for all Hoosier families. Let’s get universal choice across the finish line!
Thank you for all you do for Hoosier students! Get outside and enjoy the beauty of autumn in Indiana!

Per IC 20-30-5-4, within the two weeks preceding a general election, all non-public school students in grades 6-12 should have five full class periods of discussion concerning:
(1) the system of government in Indiana and in the United States;
(2) methods of voting;
(3) party structures;
(4) election laws; and
(5) the responsibilities of citizen participation in government and in elections.
