G.L.O.W. Children's Ministry

Upcoming Gospel Project Lessons

In our next series of lessons, we’ll be exploring God’s unwavering faithfulness as He fulfills the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We'll learn that God's promises are not dependent on human understanding or actions, but on His own unchanging faithfulness. The covenant God made with Abraham—that all nations would be blessed through his family—points to Jesus as the hope of the world.

Big Picture Question: Does God keep His promises? Yes, God always keeps His promises because He is faithful.

Happy Belated Grandparents Day

We want to wish all the wonderful grandparents a very happy belated Grandparents Day! The children worked hard on creating special cards just for you to show their love and appreciation. We hope these cards bring a smile to your face and remind you how cherished you are. Thank you for your love, wisdom, and the incredible impact you have on their lives.

You are truly a blessing!

Praise Bags - 4th and 5th Sunday's Only

On 4th and 5th Sundays when there's no children's service, children can check out these special bags filled with coloring sheets and fidget toys to keep them engaged during the main service. With a variety of coloring sheets featuring biblical stories and characters, children can express their creativity while learning about faith. Praise Bags offer families a convenient solution for keeping children involved in the service. We're thrilled to introduce this new initiative as part of our commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of our church community. See a service host to check one out. MUST BE RETURNED AT THE END OF SERVICE.

Awaken Youth Ministry

Engage, Equip, and Empower

Morgan has been engaged in one-on-one discipleship with Ashley, where she has explored topics like spiritual disciplines, spiritual gifts, and seeking truth. Through these sessions, Morgan is being equipped with the tools needed to multiply disciples. Now, she is stepping into her spiritual gift of teaching by assisting in the Children's Ministry. Here is a picture of Morgan leading an activity for the children, putting her newfound skills into action!

Young Adult Ministry

SBCC Young Adult Ministry is designed for young adults ages 18-35 seeking spiritual growth, meaningful connections, and a space to explore their faith journey together. From deep discussions on faith and purpose to practical life skills, our meetings provide a safe and nurturing environment for personal and spiritual development. We meet every other Friday from 6-7:30pm on Zoom. Contact Ashley Watson for the Zoom link.
