With Halloween season upon us, let's face some fears. We're all gearing up for it by watching scary movies and inviting spooky spirits with demonic decorations. So, let's embrace money monsters the same way. Break out your budgets, notebooks and calculators. It's time to conquer the biggest financial fears of 2024.

Finances affect people differently across various generations. While members of Generation Alpha (ages 14 and under) are just now starting to earn their own money, Gen Xers (44-59) are preparing for retirement.

Finances are usually a source of anxiety for most people, but ripping the Band-Aid off and talking about them is the best way to deal with money matters.

Jersey Tannehill, who joined our full-time staff last month, comes from an exciting background! Of course, she brings financial knowledge with her accounting degree from Taylor University, but she also has more than 10 years of experience showing swine as a 4-H member, and she played softball for 18 years — the last four of which were on the Taylor University team. She hopes to pursue coaching outside of work. Stay tuned for more fun facts about the Sponsel team in the months ahead!
