One of the things I link the season of Fall with is hospitality. From the beginning to the end, a common theme of fall is being thankful for what we have and to be ready to share in the bounty. The days are getting shorter and the nights a little bit longer and the smell of pumpkin spice fills the air everywhere we go. And we prepare ourselves for the first of those fall festival days ... Halloween.

LITTLE LIGHTS PRESCHOOL
With Fall starting we've been talking about how the weather changes with the seasons. Believe it or not our preschoolers can't wait for it to snow! Hopefully we won't have to worry about that for a while.
Halloween is on the minds of all the children. They have already started deciding what costumes that they'll be wearing to our party.
They will be doing activities on the colors purple, black and orange and on Halloween.
Our Bible stories will be about Joseph. Our preschoolers will learn that God wants us to get along with others.
There will be no preschool Oct. 14-18 during Fall Break!

A special Charge Conference will take place at the church on Monday, September 30th, at 6:30 p.m. regarding the sale of the church's parsonage. All are invited to attend.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
The UMW met on Tuesday, Sept. 10th, in Fellowship Hall. Lyn Altman presented the program "For the Beauty of the Earth and What to do If..." Officers for 2025 will be Lyn Altman, President, Carola Forsythe, Vice President, and Kathy Ward, Secretary/Treasurer. We enjoyed pumpkin and blueberry muffins and signed greeting cards handmade by Candice Schilz.
We will meet on Tuesday, October 8th, at 1:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Jane Ellen Felchuk will be presenting the program and refreshments. All women of the church are invited and welcome!!!

HAYRIDE AT CLYDE'S
SUNDAY,
OCTOBER 20th
Clyde Flory is having a Hayride at his home at 12:00 Central Time on Sunday, October 20th. There will also be a campfire, knife & hawk throw, beans & cornbread, s'mores & non-scary campfire stories.
Bring your lawn chairs and join in the fun!!!
