The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.

October is the beginning of the recommended time to receive the annual flu vaccine. Because the flu and COVID viruses share common symptoms, the CDC and the Texas Department of Health and Human Services strongly recommend the flu shot this year.

REMINDER: In order for us to have school, anyone with symptoms of any illness must remain at home. Please monitor your child's health and the persons in your student's household to ensure that strep, RSV, flu, COVID and other illnesses are not introduced into our buildings. Vaccines are free or low cost through the Dallas County Health Dept. and are the most effective way to prevent the spread of illness. Please take advantage of available resources and follow the guidance of the local health departments and the CDC to ensure the health and safety of your family and our school.

October 13: Tuition Late Fees Applied

October 14: No School--Columbus Day/Fair Day

October 16 & 17: Fire Trucks on campus!

October 23, 24, & 25: Community Helper Dress Up Days

October 25: Kona Ice Snow Cone Truck,1:45pm

October 30 & 31: Fall Celebrations (see your teacher for details). Wear orange and/or black. PLEASE NO COSTUMES.

November 21: Open House SAVE THE DATE!

1 year olds pretended to be in the wild, wild west!

2 year olds made beautiful cactus art!

Kindergarteners learned about maps and made a map of their neighborhood!

4 year olds read "Johnny Appleseed" and voted on their favorite apple after tasting different varieties!

3 year olds designed custom cowboy boots!

Students learned that "rojo" is red in Spanish class!

Picture Days!

Rembrandt Studio will be here on October 1 & 2 for school photos. A green screen will be used, so please, no green clothing.

See your Brightwheel messages regarding your assigned picture day. Please arrive no later than 9:15 am each day.

Ordering information will be sent home after picture days are over.
