President's Message

by Catherine Sturtz

As we head into October, it invites us into autumn. Mid-fall is more than an excuse to break out our cardigans and pumpkin spice; it is a golden opportunity for business teachers to market their departments and create themed class activities. Let our organization help you get inspired by discovering various resources and networking opportunities.

On October 20-21 in Suffern, NY; Long Island BTA along with BTA NYS will be holding a joint conference in order to enhance teaching skills, connect with fellow professionals, and stay up-to-date with the ever-evolving business education landscape. We hope that you will be able to join us in order to educate and lead the future of business education. Here you will have the opportunity to take part in interactive sessions, enjoy engaging speakers, and collect up-to-date information.

Judge Judith Billings said “Children are the priority. Change is the reality. Collaboration is the strategy.” We have the power as individuals and more as a group to bring energy and enthusiasm for learning to our students.  We look forward to collaborating and meaningful conversations with our members and supporters at this gathering.
