Fall into Fun at Broward County Parks! Come out to our fall festivals and spooky gatherings at our parks and nature centers.

Sorta Scary Night at Saw Palmetto Natural Area on October 18 at 4PM. Enjoy tricks, treats, and costumes with fun experiments and a semi spooky nature trail. Register for this free event on our Website.

Fall festival at Tradewinds Park and Stables on October 18 at 11AM. Sponsored by the Tradewinds Farm Hands, this family event includes a pumpkin patch, obstacle course, food trucks, bounce houses, animal interactions, and more.

Spiny Orb Weaver Haunts and Things


Funtober at Fern Forest Nature Center on October 19 at noon. Join us for this Halloween-themed program that includes a spider lesson, a craft, and a nature walk. The program is $5 per child and preregistration is required.

Trunk-or-Treat


Trunk or Treat at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park on October 23 at 5:30PM. Check out decorated vehicles showing the fall and Halloween spirit as they hand out free candy to the community.

Happy Hallo-Green at Anne Kolb Nature Center on October 25 at noon. Celebrate fall with environmentally friendly activities, games, arts and crafts, and more. This program is free but suggested donation of $2/person to Friends of Anne Kolb.

Honoring Indigenous People Guide Walk


Join us for a guided walk with our parks naturalist at Tall Cypress Natural Area on October 13 at 10AM. Learn about how indigenous people in Florida have used plants for medicine, tools, building, and other purposes.

Opening Ceremony on Loggerhead Park Mooring Field


The Broward County Board of County Commissioners and Parks and Recreation invites the public to the Opening Ceremony of Loggerhead Park Mooring Field Friday, October 10 at 9AM. Twenty-eight boat slips are now available for rental at the park, which is located in the northwest corner of Sheridan Street and A1A.

Be a Good Angler

Hands on fishing program at Anne Kolb Nature Center on November 2. The program is presented by Youth Environmental Alliance. Learn about fish and what they eat, how to use a fishing rod, tie on a hook, and learn about catch-and-release. Bring your own fishing gear or borrow some on site (limited number of rods) and let's GO FISH!

Boulevard Gardens Community Center Celebration

On September 13, Broward County Parks celebrated the renovation of the Boulevard Gardens Community Center. The community center and park is located in the Broward Municipal Services District and focuses on programs for the active older adult community.
