Executive Director Message
Jill Eidukas
As we welcome Flaherty and Collins to the corner of Main Street and Ogden Avenue in Lisle, I think about what all of the Main Streets have in common. A thriving Main Street reflects the strength of its business community. When local businesses collaborate, they create more than individual success, they build a foundation for long-term growth, economic vitality, and community pride. A strong Main Street is more than storefronts and sidewalks; it’s the heart of a community. When local businesses work together, they create a network of support that fuels growth, attracts visitors, and strengthens the local economy. From small shops and restaurants to service providers and professional offices, each business plays a role in creating a vibrant and welcoming destination.
Working together means promoting one another, sharing resources, and participating in events that bring people downtown and throughout the community. Each business, from retailers and restaurants to service providers and professionals, adds to the energy and character of our community. By supporting each other, we strengthen not only Main Street, but the entire local economy.
The Chamber is proud to champion this spirit of collaboration. Together, we can ensure that Main Street remains a place where businesses flourish, residents connect, and visitors are welcomed. Join our Downtown Business Council to help plan events to bring people to the downtown and discuss ways to make Downtown Lisle thrive not just with events but collaborations with the entire community. Attend an upcoming Chamber event, join a committee, or simply stop by a fellow member’s business. Every step we take together makes our community stronger.
Collaboration is the key. When businesses share ideas, promote one another, and participate in community events, everyone benefits. Customers notice the energy, residents feel the pride, and new opportunities arise. By supporting one another, our business community builds more than commerce we build connections, resilience, and a Main Street that continues to thrive for years to come.
Bring your little princesses, super heroes, ghosts, goblins and ghouls to trick or treat on Main Street at our Downtown Lisle Trick-or-Treat on October 25, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Visit local businesses for a treat for the kids and shop, eat, laugh and enjoy the day with family and friends.
Join us at the Annual Turkey Trot Tune Up 5K on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at the beautiful Lisle Community Park. For more information sign up on our website www.lislechamber.com under What’s New. If you would like to sponsor or volunteer at this event, contact me at jill@lislechamber.com.
Happy Fall!
