Dear CIM friends and supporters,

Last year at this time, we were gearing up for our 20th birthday party celebration, which was an incredibly joyful gathering! We were delighted to see so many of you in the Junction’s big studio celebrating the Center for Irish Music’s community. If you missed the moment when more than 80 musicians played Britches Full of Stitches together, you can relive it here on our YouTube page.

This month, we’re relaxing into the groove of our fresh fall routines. The youth ensemble pizza party practice challenge is on and our adult students are learning new material after summer performances. In the office, we’re settling into a new staffing structure, and happy to be welcoming additional instructors and board members to CIM's leadership team.

Also, CIM is hiring a Development Coordinator! Please help us spread the word about this part-time job opportunity to support the Center for Irish Music.

Thanks to the 39 workshop attendees, volunteers, and instructors for making our first Ceol agus Craic afternoon on September 20th such a great success!

Finally, I hope to see some of you this evening at the University of St. Thomas’ J. P. Monahan Gallery for a reception celebrating Thomas Dillon Redshaw’s collection of 20th-century Irish art—or on Sunday at the youth session at the Dubliner, from noon to 2:30pm.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with music and connection!
