OCTOBER 2025 NEWSLETTER

As the air turns crisp and the leaves begin to change, we’re reminded that this season is one of reflection and appreciation. Fall invites us to pause - to take stock of how far we’ve come, who we’ve connected with, and the strength that grows when we come together. This spirit of change mirrors the journey many in our community experience. Living with, treating, or caring for someone with abdominal cancer often brings unexpected seasons and moments of challenge, but also resilience and growth.

This October, we celebrate the ways our community continues to learn, share, and support one another. Whether it’s reading a new research summary, connecting with our partners, or joining our Patient and Caregiver Network, every action strengthens our community's path forward.

As the season shifts, we invite you to stay connected, explore what’s new, and continue to build awareness together. Like the turning leaves, each of you brings your own color and story to the Alliance - and together, we create a vibrant and enduring movement.

With gratitude,

The Abdominal Cancers Alliance Team

Join Us in Raising Awareness this November

Our work to raise awareness about abdominal cancer diagnoses and what patients can do about them doesn't stop. We sustain this effort all year long - and you can help us make it even bigger. Whether you join us for Gastric and Pancreatic Cancers Awareness Month in November, help us spread Hope through the holiday season, or help spread the word throughout the year, your voice is powerful!

Raise awareness on social media, join peer groups and share about the Alliance and its work, distribute literature about abdominal cancers and treatment options, host a party or get-together for the cause, and consider joining our peer-to-peer awareness campaign - there are lots of ways you can be an Ally!

We recently launched a new initiative to mobilize members of our community who want to help more patients and families learn about abdominal cancers and treatment options that can help extend and improve their lives! So far, our advocates have shared our message with hundreds of network connections the Alliance could never reach alone, and they've raised more than $15,000 to fuel our work raising awareness!
