Religious Education Newsletter

October 2025

Dear St. Raphael Parish Family,

The joy of Jesus be with you! I pray your family is enjoying the fall season and the beauty that goes with it.  The turning of the leaves serves as a reminder of the amazing artistry of our Creator.

Below is a brief summary and link to each article in the October RE newsletter. Happy Reading!

  • Note from the Director: I reflect on the pivotal role we as parents play in helping our children develop a relationship with Jesus through scripture and the sacraments and give some simple ways to grow in faith as a family.

  • Family Outreach: Kathy Baehman details the Christian roots of the Jack O Lantern and Trick or Treating.

  • Sunday School: Gwendolyn Noto introduces us to our newest little disciple: Grace Noto!
  • Elementary: A picture is worth a 1,000 words!  Lisa Lynch shares some snapshots of the many ways children have grown closer to Jesus this month.

  • InFormed Highlights: Video clips geared toward parents, youth, and children that focus on living the Catholic faith!

I pray that your family has a very blessed Solemnity of All Saints (November 1st) and Commemoration of All Souls (Nov. 2nd.)  If you have any questions regarding Religious Education at St. Raphael, please feel free to contact me (jessie.adrians@raphael.org).

All you holy men and women, pray for us!
