Meet the Authors:

Juneau Black

on October 13 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm

at WWPL

Registration is required at this link for this free author event, which takes place at the Westfield Washington Public Library and is presented as a partnership between Carmel Clay Public Library and Westfield Public Library Foundations.

Juneau Black is the pen name of authors Jocelyn Cole and Sharon Nagel. They share a love of excellent bookshops, fine cheeses, and a good murder (in fictional form only). Though they are two separate people, if you ask either of them a question about their childhood, you are likely to get the same answer. This is a little unnerving for any number of reasons. Sharon lives in Wisconsin, where she works as a librarian. Jocelyn lives in the city-state of Philadelphia, where she also writes romance as Elizabeth Cole.

Book sales and signing will follow the presentation.

Did you know that WWPL offers free adult ELL (English Language Learner)classes? They have been hugely popular in our community, and we will have new classes starting up in the spring.

In order to participate in our next session of ELL classes, participants need to first take a 15-minute placement test, and we have scheduled the following upcoming placement test dates:

Tuesday, Oct. 21, tests begin between 6pm and 7pm

Friday, Oct. 24, tests begin between 10:30am and 11:30am

Saturday, Oct. 25, tests begin between 10:30am and 11:30am

Tuesday, Oct. 28, tests begin between 6pm and 7pm

Monday, Nov. 3, tests begin between 4pm and 5pm

If you (or someone you know) is interested, please register for one of these placement test times at tinyurl.com/WWPLevents . If you have questions, please contact Kim Wright at kwright@wwpl.lib.in.us.
