----OCTOBER 2025 EDITION----

Hello fellow Alamo Ranch Neighbors,

Hope everyone is having a great week! I've got some updates and save the dates for y'all.

Our annual meeting is scheduled for October 14th at 6:30 pm at the Hoffmann Elementary cafeteria. We go over the overall financials of the year, recognize our committees, explain some of the decisions that have been made this year with the board, and of course, we give out prizes. We need at least 65 resident representatives to meet our 5% quorum. You're welcome to bring your family, but only one owner is counted for quorum. Please click the rsvp button below so we can estimate how many people will be attending for food. There will be some good prizes being raffled off, so don't miss it!

The multipurpose court has finally gotten a green light from the city to cut down a few trees to make room. There will be people working behind the pool area, clearing some land. We do not have a timeline for it to be finished, but hopefully by the annual meeting, we'll have more details.

I've gotten a lot of feedback about the pocket parks and the Amenity playground, and we are looking at adding items to the big playground to fill in the empty space. The board is suggesting a $40k budget line for pocket parks in the Dewit/Travis/Burnet and there will be swings! The budget gets approved at the annual meeting and goes in effect January 1st.

Halloween is going to be on a Friday this year, so please be aware that kids will probably be out later than usual. It is up to you to decide to keep handing out candy as late as you want, but the international "out of candy" sign is porch lights off. If you don't want to be bothered, I highly suggest you turn your porch light off. Also, please take care when driving that night with all the children walking around.

The annual trunk or treat is looking for Trunks! The contest for trunks is fun, and the top three win prizes, but we really need people to sign up to hand out treats to the kids that night. Candy is provided by the HOA. We’re also looking for vendors. We allow vendors to come sell wares at the Halloween event and the Easter event, so if you have things to sell, please sign up in the office.

As always, if you have any questions/comments, please feel free to email me.
