It’s hard to believe it’s October already and we have a busy month ahead of us. On October 8th there is a Multi-Chamber Progressive Networking Luncheon ”Fall Into Business” at Villa Olivia 1401 W. Lake Street Bartlett from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm. Registration is open until 10:00 am on October 5th.
On October 10th the Lisle Area Chamber event “Lisle Bottles Barrels and Brews” is taking place from 2:00pm – 5:00pm at the Museums at Lisle Park. Get your tickets before prices go up at the gate. CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS
The morning of October 13th at 8:15 a.m. Illinois State Senator John Curran (District 41) will be speaking and answering questions at the Government Affairs Committee meeting at the Chamber office. Then in the afternoon of October 13th there is another Multi-Chamber Progressive Networking Luncheon “She Means Business” from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Holiday Inn and Suites located at 205 Remington Blvd. Bolingbrook.
One of things I am really excited for is our Chamber Member Appreciation and Welcome Reception taking place on October 20th from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the River Bend Golf Club, 5900 S Route 53, Lisle. This event is free to attend. If you are interested in attending, please contact Claudine Rummer at the Chamber to RSVP.
Lastly on October 24th the Downtown Lisle Businesses will be handing out candy for the Downtown Lisle Trick or Treating event from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Bring the family for an afternoon of treats!

As we welcome fall in Lisle, we look forward to a season filled with cooler temperatures, colorful leaves, and wonderful opportunities to bring our business community together. Fall is a time to reflect on the successes of the year, strengthen relationships, and look ahead to new opportunities. The 4th quarter of the year typically is a strong quarter for sales for a lot of businesses. Those businesses on a calendar year strive to end the year strong and to prepare for the next year.
The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce has an exciting lineup of events planned for the coming months. From networking opportunities and ribbon cuttings to community events, there are many ways to connect with fellow members, build relationships, and support local businesses.
Our fall events are a great reminder of what makes Lisle special. When our businesses work together, we create a stronger local economy and a more vibrant community. Every connection made, referral shared, and local business supported makes a difference.
As we approach the end of the year, I encourage you to take advantage of your Chamber membership. Attend an event, introduce yourself to another member, invite a fellow business owner to join us, or simply take a moment to shop and support our local businesses. If you are looking to be more involved in the Chamber, we are in the process of preparing the ballots for our 2027 Board of Directors. If you are interested in joining the Chamber’s Board, please let me know and I can send you an application.
May your fall season be filled with new connections, continued success, and opportunities to grow. When you visit a Lisle Area Chamber business let them know you are also a member of the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce. Let them know about your business and how you can help each other grow your businesses.

On Tuesday, September 15th, the Lisle Area Chamber joined the Wheaton Chamber, Glen Ellyn Chamber, Lombard Chamber and Carol Stream Chamber for a Multi-Chamber Business After Hours at Innovation DuPage.

On September 24, 2026, The Crib held their Ribbon Cutting & Open House for their location in Lisle. The Crib is located at 1208 Lisle Place, Lisle.
The Crib was born out of the idea...
that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can be the magical moment you are envisioning. We hear from clients daily about anxieties with pregnancy, concerns about their care options, and worries about navigating postpartum life. We have had the privilege of listening, guiding, and nurturing over 600 families through their birth and postpartum journey and have learned a lot along the way.
We want you to feel empowered to understand your choices and make decisions that are best for you and your baby. At The Crib, we are here to walk you through the journey whether this is your first baby or your fifth, your previous experiences have been joyous, or traumatic, or you are completely unsure of what is next. Everyone deserves to be held, supported, and heard.
