Lower Providence Library News!
| | |
Hello friends and Happy October!
Can you believe it's October already? That means one of my favorite nights of the year is almost here: the Fourth Annual Taste of Lower Providence.
When? Saturday, October 10, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the
Lower Providence Community Library.
If you've been before, you know what a fun night this is at the library. There is great food from local restaurants, lots of familiar faces, and local music, all creating a really fun night out for a good cause. If you haven't been yet, this is your year! Everything raised goes right back into the library, helping us keep our programs, books, and services going strong for everyone in our community.
And don't forget the raffle baskets! Our local businesses and community members went all out this year, and honestly, a few of these baskets have me tempted to buy a stack of tickets myself. Tickets are on sale now at the library, so swing by next time you're in and grab a few.
We'll pick the winners at the fundraiser.
Tickets for the Taste of Lower Providence are on sale at the library or online for $40.00 in advance. You can also get your tickets at the door the night of for $45.00.
A big thank you to the Lower Providence Board of Trustees, our volunteers, sponsors, Friends of the Library, and staff who make this night happen. You're the best!
Hope to see you there and bring your appetite!
Happy reading, and see you at the library!
Marija Skoog, Library Director
