Crossroads Founder's Day!
On Friday we gathered in our cohorts to celebrate Crossroads Academy's thirtieth birthday! We were excited to welcome our founder Mary Beth Klee, who was celebrating her own birthday as well!
Kindergartners Study Indigenous People
As part of one of their first history units, kindergartners have been learning about Indigenous people. Most recently, students have been focusing on the Abenaki tribes of the Northern region.
Lower School Art Update
Happy Fall! With limited access into our buildings please enjoy this little snapshot of our hallway displays and artworks in-progress that our lower school artists have been working on!
Core Knowledge Skits
At our Lower School Assembly last week, our first and third graders presented skits to showcase the Core Knowledge unit they are currently learning about. For first graders, the unit was fables. For third graders, Ancient Rome! We concluded the assembly by dancing to the Cha Cha Slide to exhibit one of our Core Virtues this month: Joy!
Fresh Picks Lunch Reminders
1. Starting this week, we will not be purchasing extra school lunches.

2. The large salads seem to be too large for the Lower School students, which is causing a lot of of food waste. We suggest ordering small salads for Lower School students.

3. Lunches can be cancelled until 6:00 a.m. each day. If you would like us to hold your lunch because a child is absent, please send a message to their teacher or Darlene.
