Reformation Sunday

Rooted in the past and growing into the future, the church must always be reformed in order to live out the love of Christ in an ever-changing world. This year these changes include the arrival of the coronavirus. This week these changes include a surge in infections and deaths in IL and surrounding states.
Much as it pains us not to gather in person on this festival Sunday, we love God by loving our neighbor, limiting the spread of the virus.

Even as our movements and interactions are restricted, our hearts have been set free by the grace of God given to us in baptism. In that freedom and faith we pray for the church and for the world. May they and we continue to be reformed, renewed, and healed.

In addition to the online worship service below, on Sunday mornings there's a Zoom Adult Bible Study from 9-9:45 am, a Zoom Children's Sermon from 9:45-10 am, Zoom Confirmation Class from 11:30 - 12:15. Click on the title of highlighted meeting to join.

Thank you to all who are able to continue supporting the church financially, especially through e-giving. The church will continue being the church, spiritually nurturing and serving others, through your generosity. If you would like to give electronically, please click HERE.
